HI Boston Hostel hosts regular events for guests to enjoy and meet fellow travelers and learn more about the local communuity and culture. All events are FREE, unless otherwise noted. Please check the 'Get Going' wall at the hostel when you arrive for additional one-off events the hostel may be hosting!

Here is a weekly snap shot of reguarly scheduled events:

 

Monday:

• Rebels Tour - Join us for an exploration of the rebels and troublemakers who helped define Boston's culture. From the revolutionaries, the activists, the writers and the trendsetters!
• Monday Trivia Night Welcome Party - Join us for a Welcome Party at HI Boston to mingle with fellow travelers and learn about Boston. Free drink tickets provided, as well as snacks and non acloholic options. Must be 21+ to drink alcohol. 
• Monday Night Pub Tour - Join us for beer and food, good conversations and forge personal connections with your fellow hostellers! 

Tuesday:

• MIT Architecture and History Tour  - Join an accomplished architect and MIT Alumni on an in-depth tour of MIT's unique campus buildings and history! 
• Harvard Art Museums Tour - A flexible tour of Harvard's spectacular and free Art Museums! Walk across the campus and explore the collections across three large exhibit halls!
• Skyline Tour at the Piers - Join us for an evening walk to the multicultural hub that is East Boston, and along the best skyline views of the city!

Wednesday:

• Slow Flow Yoga - Come start your morning with a chill, beginner-friendly vinyasa yoga session.
• Freedom Trail Walking Tour - A long walking tour through some of the most beautiful and historic places in the city! Ending with a boat ride in Boston Harbor! 
• Boston Public Arts Tour (Select Wednesdays) - Join us on a deep dive into some of the local art installations for a pleasant 1.5 hour tour around the neighborhood!
• Mid-Week Movie - Join us in the community room for a movie and discussion. 

Thursday:

• Harvard "A Complicated History" Walking Tour - A guided tour through some of the most important sites in Harvard University and observe them in a new way, touching upon the complicated and often dark history of Harvard. Tickets are $5
• Thursday Night Welcome Party - Join us for a Welcome Party to mingle with fellow travelers and learn about Boston. Free drink tickets provided, as well as snacks and non acloholic options. Must be 21+ to drink alcohol. 
• Thursday Pub Tour - Come join some locals (volunteers) and your fellow travelers for a Boston pub tour! 

Friday:

• Beacon HIll/Greenway/Chinatown Tour - Join us for a wonderful exploration of Chinatown, the Rose-Kennedy Greenway, Downtown, spectacular Beacon Hill
• Skyline Tour at the Piers - Join us for an evening walk to the multicultural hub that is East Boston, and along the best skyline views of the city!
• Friday Pub Tour (Select Fridays) - Come join tour leaders and your fellow travelers for a Boston pub tour to some exciting areas! 

Saturday: 

• Freedom Trail (Select Saturdays) - Join us as we follow the world-famous Freedom Trail from the Common up to the North End, and explore the stories that helped shape the USA.  
• Back Bay Tour - Explore the Back Bay neighborhood's unique French-inpired architecture, the spectacular Boston Public Library, and the Boston Marathon finish line! 

Sunday:

• Boston Tea Party Welcome Party - Join us while we enjoy local snacks and tea and learn about local Boston Tea Party history.  
• SUNDAY FIELD TRIPS - Join us on a day-long outing to a destination outside of Boston! Some days we visit Providence, capital of Rhode Island. Sometimes we visit the Witch-City, Salem! Maybe we'll go and check out an abandoned Civil War era prison and fortress on beautiful George's Island! Check the schedule to know what's coming up! 
• Sunday Cinema - Join us in the community room for a movie and discussion. 

Note: Weekly events are subject to change and subject to availability. Many events require registration so please make sure to register once you receive the email from HI USA two days prior to arrival or when you arrive to the hostel to reserve your spot. For any events off site, guests are responsible for purchasing their own subway or bus tickets, food and drinks.
