Here is a weekly snap shot of reguarly scheduled events:

Monday:

• Upper West Side Walking Tour (select Mondays)-Get to know your local surroundings with a tour of the Bloomingdale neighborhood and other parts of the Upper West Side. Explore historic landmarks, restaurants and bars--including a jazz club, the largest Gothic cathedral in the U.S.and Riverside Park, a lesser known cousin to Central Park. 
• Monday Night Welcome Party -- Join us for a Welcome Party at HI New York City to mingle with fellow travelers and learn about NYC. Free drink tickets provided, as well as snacks and non acloholic options. Must be 21+ to drink alcohol. 
• Karaoke Mondays -- After Monday's Welcome Party, join your hosts and fellow travelers for a night of karaoke at a local speakeasy known for it's they're spiked bubble teas and Asian fusion cuisine. They will offering HI New York City guests happy hour drink prices ALL night!

Tuesday:

• History of Immigration on the Lower East Side Walking Tour -- Join long-time HI New York City tour guide and fellow HI New York City guests on this wonderful exploration of the Lower East Side of NYC and make friends with your fellow travelers along the way!
• Comedy Night at HI NYC -- Join us in the Theatre Room every Tuesday night at 9:30pm for a free Comedy Show with local NYC comics! For mature audiences only! Comedians will interact with the audience. Shows are intended for mature audiences only. 

Wednesday:

• Live Music or Karaoke Outings -- Join local volunteers and fellow travelers on select Wednesdays to visit live music venues or a local karoke establishment. 

Thursday:

• Battery Park to the Brooklyn Bridge Walking Tour -- Join long-time HI New York City tour guide and fellow HI New York City guests for a walk through the origins of New York City, exploring what was once New Amsterdam. Along the way, you will see and learn about various stops, including Federal Hall, the New York Stock Exchange, Bowling Green, and many more historic sites and iconic landmarks. The tour will conclude at the entrance to the walkway onto the Brooklyn Bridge.
• Thursday Night Welcome Party -- Join us for a Welcome Party at HI New York City to mingle with fellow travelers and learn about NYC. Free drink tickets provided, as well as snacks and non acloholic options. Must be 21+ to drink alcohol. 
• Bushwick Brooklyn Pub Tour -- Come join tour leaders and your fellow travelers for a Brooklyn pub tour! You will get to learn about and experience Bushwick, Brooklyn and local bars/nightlife known for their commitment to sharing and celebrating culture.

Friday:

• Central Park Walking Tour -- Join longtime HI New York City tour guide and fellow travelers to discover the intriguing history of Central Park! Limited spots available. Registration required. Preference given to guests that have registered for event.

Saturday: 

• Movie Night--Join fellow guests for a relaxed movie night in the theatre room! 

Sunday:

• Comedy Night at HI New York City -- Join us in the Theatre Room every Sunday night at 9:30pm for a free Comedy Show with local NYC comics! For mature audiences only! Comedians will interact with the audience. Shows are intended for mature audiences only.

Many events require registration so please make sure to register once you receive the email from HI USA two days prior to arrival or when you arrive to the hostel to reserve your spot. For any events off site, guests are responsible for purchasing their own subway or bus tickets, food and drinks.
