About your instructor:
Abi has practiced a range of yoga styles for decades, including 26-posture hot yoga, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa. In the summer of 2024, she completed her 200-hour certification at ISHTA Yoga (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda). During her training, she developed a deep connection to ISHTA’s tantric approach and chose to continue her studies immediately. She is currently completing an additional 300 hours of training toward her 500-hour certification.
Abi views yoga as a powerful tool for personal development of the mind, body, and soul. Her teaching is rooted in tantric principles, with a focus on alignment from the inside out. She integrates the subtle body into her classes while encouraging each student’s individuality across the physical, energetic, and philosophical dimensions of the practice.
In addition to teaching yoga and meditation, Abi is a professional astrologer. She offers astrologically informed yoga classes online and has both participated in and led retreats that weave together yoga and astrology to reflect and respond to the current celestial landscape. At her core, Abi is a community builder who believes in creating meaningful change, one regulated nervous system at a time.
